Do Something
There’s a story about D.L. Moody the famous American evangelist from the 19th century who was once criticised by a lady he was talking to for his methods of attempting to win people for Christ.
He surprised her by replying “I agree. I don’t like it either. Tell me, how do you do it?”
“I don’t” she said.
“Then I like my way of doing it better than your way of not doing it.”
Do you know what he means?
Pray something.
If you need some encouragement for praying, especially for praying with an outward focus, have a look at http://prayersonthemove.com/. It is a website, it can be an app, where prayers are sent to you every day to use for prayer and encourage you to pray. Evangelism and prayer should always go together.
Think something.
I learnt recently about spiral dynamics, a way to understand how people think. I am not sure about all of it but it helps to consider how people behave and respond in different situations and possible ways of communicating the gospel so people are more open to hear. Say something.

Diary done:
Short talk at North Ave URC about parable of the sower for harvest: had to be! Also, leading / preaching at a service there about keeping going in prayer and proclaiming. A couple of comments afterwards about how people were challenged by it which is good as we all need to be and then do something about it. I think I mentioned that already in the above!
Preaching about Paul’s missionary travels at Broomfield Road Evangelical church – the church is known as BREC so I made a joke about missionaries leaving the church to go to Europe – BREC’s it….sorry. We thought about Paul’s example for us in our everyday mission where we live and work and again some good feedback afterwards about people challenged to do that.
